About Caspar van Woudenberg
Caspar van Woudenberg (1995, Utrecht) studied screenwriting at the Netherlands Film Academy, where he graduated with the screenplay A Capella in D Minor. After graduating, he joined the writers’ room of the final season of Mocro Maffia as an intern, which marked the beginning of his development as a television writer, writing series like De moord op opa Meines and Fort Alpha. Alongside his work in television, he continues to write and develop short films and is currently working on his first feature film called Delulu.
Caspar’s work is characterized by strong character arcs and stories driven by thematic questions. His films often explore uncomfortable or recognizable situations through a comedic lens, balancing humor with drama. Rather than providing clear answers, he aims to create films that offer audiences an opening for conversation and reflection. This approach can be seen in his recently released shorts Inhumaan and De Floor is Lava.
Caspar is represented by Henneman Agency, by Gillian Pagano Mirani.
